Western Hills Aquatics: Program Overview

Western Hills Aquatic Program Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a safe, educational aquatic experience for all students.

Our number one priority is the safety of our students, both while in class but most importantly whenever around water and thus our program is designed to teach students skills to remain safe around the water in a fun and inclusive way.

In order to provide a holistic approach to learning, parents will be given educational materials that provide parents skills to continue to keep their children safe while around water.

  • We will offer a Dive in Movie Theater on Thursday nights throughout the summer

Community Benefits
  • There is compelling rationale for another aquatic program in Chino Hills
  • Parks and Recreation swim lessons are over crowded
  • Parks and Recreation classes often have more than 5 students to one instructor
  • This leads to a dangerous working environment in the heat for the employees which in turn can lead to less attention to each student
